Elizabeh Worrell is an accomplished marketing professional with more than 15 years of career experience in integrated marketing and communications. In her current role Elizabeth oversees the Partner Marketing team at Shipt, which allows her the great privilege to work with grocers and retailers across the US including Target, Petco and CVS. Since joining Shipt, which was founded and based right here in the Magic City, Elizabeth has been instrumental in building the marketing strategy of this personalized grocery delivery service that was acquired by Target in 2017.
Before joining Shipt in 2016 (while it was in it’s start-up phase) and taking a full plunge into a business deeply rooted in technology, Elizabeth held marketing roles with Coastal Living magazine and Saks Fifth Avenue. She credits her experience of holding leadership roles in a variety of industries as one of the key enablers that allowed her to adapt and bring processes and structure to an ever-evolving Shipt.
When Elizabeth isn’t spending time traveling the country to work with Shipt’s retail partners, she enjoys the “little moments” with her family. Lovers of music and sports, she and her husband Clark are happiest when cheering their many SEC teams to victory in football and basketball or enjoying a nightly karaoke concert performed by daughters Wyatt and Martha Rodes. Elizabeth is a native of Kentucky, a graduate of Ole Miss School of Journalism and New Media and has loved calling Vestavia Hills her home for the last 10 years.
