Regions Bank's ADA Manager, Kathy Lovell, will share how she helped her company proactively create a corporate culture that creates a welcoming environment for those with disabilities. There are many types of disabilities affecting millions of Americans. Kathy will discuss strategies outlining how your company can better serve the disability community by creating a culture of inclusion. After all, a commitment to inclusion and accessibility is one simple way we can make our corner of the world a better place for everyone.
About the presenter:
Kathy Lovell manages the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) program for Regions Bank. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Tennessee. Ms. Lovell completed the ADA Coordinators’ Training Certification Program in 2014 and the UAB ADA Professionals’ Training Certification in 2015. She has been the recipient of a number of awards including the Women Who Shape the State of Alabama Award in November of 2017.
Ms. Lovell currently serves on the State Rehabilitation Council for the State of Alabama, the Board of Paraquad, Disability Rights and Resource Center and the City of Birmingham's ADA Advisory Committee.
